AIT Alumni Association Honors the Legacy of a Distinguished Scholar and Mentor
The AIT Alumni Association (AITAA) extends its deepest condolences on the passing of Prof. Karl E. Weber (1939–2026), Professor Emeritus of the Asian Institute of Technology (AIT).
Professor Weber was a respected academic, dedicated mentor, and valued member of the AIT community. Throughout his distinguished career, he devoted himself to teaching, research, and service, leaving a lasting impact on generations of students and alumni. His contributions to the Institute and his field will be remembered with great respect and gratitude.
Though he is no longer with us, his wisdom, guidance, and influence will continue to inspire the global AIT community.
During this time of loss, our thoughts are with his family, colleagues, students, and all those whose lives he touched. On behalf of the global AIT alumni community, we honor his legacy and extend our heartfelt sympathies.
