Project Scope & Objectives
We aim to make significant improvements to our website to better serve our alumni community. The key objectives include:
- Design Overhaul: Modernizing the website layout for a more engaging and visually appealing experience.
- Improved Functionality: Enhancing website features such as navigation, search, and responsiveness.
- User Experience Enhancement: Ensuring an intuitive, accessible, and mobile-friendly interface.
- Content Organization: Refining content structure for better readability and user engagement.
- Performance Optimization: Improving website speed and security.
- Integration Capabilities: Ensuring compatibility with alumni databases, social media, and other relevant tools.
- Additional Features: Implementing online registration for alumni, developing an alumni database system, and integrating a payment gateway.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct a comprehensive review of the existing website (https://www.aitaa.asia/).
- Work in close collaboration with the PR Team and Program Officer of the AITAA.
- Propose and implement a new design that aligns with AITAA’s mission and branding.
- Optimize website speed, security, and responsiveness across all devices.
- Improve website navigation and content accessibility.
- Integrate necessary tools and features for better user engagement.
- Provide training or documentation for website maintenance.
- Ensure adherence to SEO best practices.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proven experience in website development, refurbishment, or UX/UI design.
- Proficiency in web development technologies (e.g., WordPress, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, PHP).
- Experience in database integration and website security best practices.
- Strong graphic design skills with proficiency in design tools (e.g., Adobe XD, Figma, or Canva).
- Understanding of SEO and website analytics.
- Ability to work independently and deliver within project timelines.
- Previous experience working with alumni associations, NGOs, or educational institutions is a plus.
Deliverables & Timeline
The project is expected to commence on 15 April 2025 and be completed by June 2025, with key milestones such as:
- Initial Website Audit & Proposal – [30 March 2025]
- Prototype Design with Decided Sited Map - [20 April 2025]
- Design & Functional Enhancements – [15 May 2025]
- Testing & Feedback Incorporation – [15 June 2025]
- Final Deployment & Handover – [30 June 2025]
